A Legacy of innovation & Collaboration

Since its inception, the Science, Technology & Engineering Forum (STEF) has grown from a niche gathering of specialists into a dynamic platform for cross-disciplinary exchange and thought leadership. Originally conceived as a space for sharing emerging research and technical insights, STEF has continually adapted to reflect the changing landscape of science and technology.

Over the years, the forum has:

  • Expanded its scope – moving beyond traditional engineering topics to embrace cutting-edge fields such as AI, digital transformation, sustainability, and interdisciplinary innovation.
  • Fostered collaboration – attracting participants from academia, industry, and policy-making bodies, creating a truly diverse dialogue.
  • Integrated societal impact – shifting focus from purely technical advances to exploring how science and technology can address global challenges, from climate change to inclusive growth.
  • Introduced interactive formats – including workshops, live demonstrations, and collaborative sessions that encourage knowledge-sharing and practical problem-solving.
  • Celebrated milestones – marking anniversaries with special programs that showcase the evolution of technology and the forum’s role in shaping future directions.

Today, STEF stands as a flagship event for the MPCE sector and is committed to driving progress through openness, trust, and cooperation. It continues to be a catalyst for new ideas, partnerships, and solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
